The park boasts incredible biodiversity with over 4,000 plant species, including the iconic Rafflesia arnoldii and titan arum. Its wildlife includes several rare and endangered animals like Sumatran Tiger:

The Big cats like : Clouded leopards, Marbled cats, Leopard cats and Asian golden cats, other species such as Sumatran dholes, Elephants, Sunda clouded leopards, Malayan tapirs and Malayan sun bears.
Rediscovered species, like the Sumatran Muntjac (a deer thought lost since the 1905s.

Kerinci Seblat is a haven for birdlife, with over 370 species, including the Sumatran ground-cuckoo (rediscovered in 2002) and 17 of Sumatra’s 20 endemic birds, making it a vital destination for ornithologists and birdwatchers.

The Java Birding Tour exceeded my expectations! Each birdwatching session unveiled stunning species in their natural habitats, and the guides were incredibly knowledgeable.
